GSA Schedule Contracts – A Promising Market for Your Business or a Paperwork Nightmare?
This is an overview of the GSA Schedules application process which includes both the advantages and disadvantages of being on a “GSA Schedule”. The Schedules program is an EXPEDITED method of procurement used by ALL government agencies, and what is meant by “expedited” will be explained.

Any business, large and small, which is selling either products and/or services which the government (federal and state) is buying on a regular basis will probably benefit from attending.

DFARS Cybersecurity Conference

This conference will focus on compliance with the DFARS Cybersecurity requirements.

These requirements have been on the books for several years, but the implementation deadline is December 31, 2017.

Who should attend: Companies at any tier in the defense and homeland security supply chain.

If you are a supplier or service provider in the defense supply chain, be aware of DFARS 252.204-7012 and related contract clauses. These clauses will be in your contracts and subcontracts and require you and your subcontractors and suppliers to protect controlled unclassified information.

What you will learn: Experts from the National Institute of Standards (NIST), several leading defense contractors, and companies that offer commercial solutions to the requirements will present:
• information on the requirements standard
• challenges discovered and solutions developed by large prime contractors
• insights on the flowdown requirement (both to you, and from you to suppliers and subs)
